Europe considers Syria chemical attack response

Her office said it’s vital that the quote deeply concerning attack did not go unchallenged. May was expected to give military action the go-ahead without consulting parliament first. According to the UK’s daily telegraph, May has ordered British submarines to move within missile range of Syria. French President, Emanuel Macron says Paris has proof that Syrian forces used chemical weapons, including chlorine, in the rebel enclave of Duma on April 7th.

If France does choose to strike, it has a dozen Rafale jets within striking distance of Syria, as well as a cruise missile armed frigate. After speaking with Macron on Thursday, Angela Merkel said Germany supports its western allies, but will not be taking any part in military action.>>
