Nomura Holdings Inc. has made new appointments at its electronic brokerage unit Instinet, as restructuring continues at the Japanese bank.

The bank said in a statement Friday it has named Shaun Bramham as Instinet’s regional head, Asia-Pacific, replacing Glenn Lesko. Mr. Bramham is currently chief operating officer of Nomura’s Asia equities business, excluding Japan.

Mr. Bramham is a former Lehman Brothers banker, and remained with Nomura after the Japanese bank bought the failed Wall Street bank’s Asia operations in 2008.
